The Forest Floors carpet, designed for Dutch brand Moooi, is one expression of Front’s fascination with capturing the atmosphere of the forest and redeploying it within spaces in which its sense of wild freedom and creativity is, perhaps, alien.
Created using the high–definition printing technology of Dutch brand Moooi, the carpet is a melange of photography, drawings, paintings, and 3D scans produced by Front in Sweden’s wilderness. It presents a landscape formed by the forest, transported into a new domestic context.
