Front at Science Museum London

Front has made a major permanent installation at the Science Museum in London, which is the centrepiece of the museum's new Wonderlab gallery, by muf architecture/art. The light installation consists of a skyscape of tiny suspended lights that create a three-dimensional map of the positions of the 500 closest stars to earth. The map was made in collaboration with the European Space Agency. The floor underneath the canopy slowly rotates, to create the experience for visitors of a microcosmic hemisphere that is spectacular and scientifically accurate.
